Features
- Kerlon 1800 outer tent fabric and 10 mm poles make for an exceptionally strong and stable tent.
- All season construction: Hilleberg's tent walls extend to the ground and mesh areas are backed with adjustable fabric panels.
- Tunnel construction offers maximum space to weight ratio and is the ideal choice for mobile journeys.
- Plenty of room for four occupants and their gear.
- Linked but seperable inner and outer tent for simultaneous pitching.
- Tunnel design requires only four pegs for pitching, and the simple, single opening continouse sleeve and pole tensioner system is quick to pitch and remarkably stable.
- Dual entrances and vestibules ensure that one door can always be situated out of the wind and provide flexible entry/exit and storage options.
- One standard and one extended vestibule afford even more gear storage and comfort.
- The outer and inner tents can be used separately. Pitching the inner tent alone requires optional pole holderes

The Hilleberg Keron 4 GT is pictured at left with a 5'11" model. The Keron 4 GT is an exoskeleton tent that is set up with the 4 poles in the outer tent (fly). The inner tent is attached to the fly on the inside. Tent is pictured at left in this full set-up, with the inner tent and fly set up as one unit. The vestibule door features a solid fabric door and inner removable mesh panel (shown closed in photo at left) which provides ventilation while helping to keep bugs out.
The outer tent of the Hilleberg Keron 4 GT can be set-up with or without the inner tent. The photo at left was taken from inside the front vestibule looking through the inner tent into the rear vestibule. Both doors of the inner tent are fully open in the photo.
The inner tent can be set up separately tobe used in warmer conditions. To set up the inner tent of the Hilleberg Keron 4 GT separately, you need six pole holders (sold separately) and two guy lines to keep the inner tent erect. The poles are run through the elastic suspension loops that usually attach the inner tent to the outer tent. The photo at left shows 4 standard size Therm-a-Rest sleeping pads inside the tent for scale.
