top lid. Photos below show only
the detachable lid which converts to a fanny

The suspension system of the Arc'teryx Bora 65 includes contoured shoulder straps and hipbelt that compliment the thermoformed back panel. Load lifters and a chest strap adjust position of pack to preference. For additional photos of the Bora 65 suspension, click here. |

The Arc'teryx Bora 65 has four compression straps (two per side), two side pockets, and a floating detachable lid. WaterTight zippers and water resistant fabrics help keep elements out. Double layer fabric bottom increases durability of pack. A vertical zipper on one side of the pack runs the length of the main compartment and allows side access to contents inside the pack. The main compartment of the Arc'teryx Bora 65 subdivides into an upper chamber and a lower sleeping bag compartment. In photo to left, the divider flaps have been rolled back and secured by five built in attachments. This photo was taken from the bottom of the pack, looking up into the main compartment. Additional pockets on the front panel and within the main compartment are shown in detail in additional photos. For additional photos of the Bora 65 main compartment, click here. |
Features
|
Arc'teryx Technologies
WaterTight™ Fabric | Bora packs use a new 420D WaterTight™ Fabric. 100% Waterproof, with superb abrasion resistance and snow shedding protection. Similar to x-Pac™ fabric, it also features a white-backed laminate for improved visibility |
Lamination Technology | Arc'teryx pioneered the technology of lamination construction to create leaner, more functional and durable garments. Instead of sewing, they glue in their pockets, zippers, collars, hems and cuffs. |
Thermomoulded Hipbelts/Squashpods | Arc'teryx invented a sculpted hipbelt that curves with the body's contours. Using thermomoulding construction techniques, hipbelts distribute weight evenly and comfortably, while Squashpods act as an extra layer of cushioning for added support. |
Die Cut Hypalon | Arc'teryx die cut extremely abrasion resistant Hypalon™ for increased durability and finish the process with rounded shapes and components that wear longer and are less likely to catch on sharp things. |
Stitch Count | Arc'teryx averages 14-16 stitches per linear inch vs. the industry standard of 8-10 stitches per inch. This unique high stitch count is used on all of Arc'teryx seams, providing a stronger, better quality seam. |
