The H7R features a  Turning Focus System that is adjusted with knob under the light. The black hinge under the knob allows the H7R lamp head to swivel 90o The dimmer lever on back of the headlamp where the battery pack is located allows you to dim or increase brightness of light

The H7R includes a USB / Wall charger for recharging the included 3 AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries. If you don't think you'll be near your charger you can also operate the headlamp with three regular AAA batteries. The DC In for connecting the USB or Wall charger to charge the batteries.
