With an incredibly low weight this model is ideal for adventure racers who are looking for the ultimate in low weight tents. It's tiny pack size means it fits in most panniers. The Laser Ultra 1 is compatible with the Terra Nova FASTPACK system, allowing those who want to trim weight further when conditions permit, to use the flysheet and the fastpack groundsheet which is available separately.

The partially transparent nature of the Ultra fabric fly allows you to see the inner tent and vestibule through the fly.	The rear side of the Laser Ultra 1 does not feature any interior access or a vestibule.

Each end of the Laser Ultra 1 features a roll up ventilation system. Image above shows end of tent with venting system not in use.	Image above shows the vent rolled up and tied open to provide ventilation to the interior tent by way of triangle shaped mesh window on the inner tent. Opposite end of the shelter features the same vent system. Both vents come equipped with carbon fiber rods to provide space between fly and inner tent.
