The new Fury is a new color and uses a different fly material
which makes it lighter than the previous year's model. The fly material is
now 40d (vs 75d previously). The 40d fabric is lighter but more "coat-able" thus
more weather proof. Another fly change is that MSR now uses PU for the outside
coating and silicone on the inside.
The waterproof, uretech, fly door zips are a great weather proof,
livabililty, improvement. All tent poles now have one end that is
rounded. This is to help with the durability and ease of set up on the Fast
Feed Pole System.
