| Two plastic locking clips held to the pack by elastic cord provide quick attachment points which can be used to secure ice axe, poles, etc. Additional gear can be secured to the top of the Arc'teryx Needle 45 at four tie down buckles at top corners. | Two locking clips at the top of the pack (shown in photo at left) and two fabric loops at the bottom of the pack can secure two ice axes to the Arc'teryx Needle 45. Two additional fabric side loops can be used to hold skis or other gear. | |
