Arc'teryx Technologies
Lamination Technology
Arc'teryx pioneered the technology of lamination construction
to create leaner, more functional and durable garments. Instead of sewing,
they glue in their pockets, zippers, collars, hems and cuffs.
Thermomoulded Shoulder Straps
Permanently shaped and sculpted through the thermomoulding process,
our shoulder straps follow the body's contours. Superb support and comfort
without adding weight or bulk.
Die Cut Hypalon
Arc'teryx die cut extremely abrasion resistant Hypalon™ for increased
durability and finish the process with rounded shapes and components that
wear longer and are less likely to catch on sharp things.
Stitch Count
Arc'teryx averages 14-16 stitches per linear inch vs. the industry standard
of 8-10 stitches per inch. This unique high stitch count is used on all
of Arc'teryx seams, providing a stronger, better quality seam.
Drybag™ Closure
The DryBag™ closure system is weatherproof and incredibly easy
to use with gloves. Super-quick access and a large opening makes diving
into your pack a much easier process.
x-Pac™ Fabric
Arc'teryx sourced x-Pac™ fabric for exceptional long-term durability
and water shedding properties. Instead of simply coating the interior,
this fabric is constructed with a three-layer bonding process. A new white-backed
laminate ensures great pack visibility when searching for stowed gear.
Thermomoulded Hipbelts/Squashpods™
Arc'teryx has invented a sculpted hipbelt that curves with the body's
contours. Using thermomoulding construction techniques, hipbelts distribute
weight evenly and comfortably, while Squashpods act as an extra layer
of cushioning for added support.
