Weights:
Batteries: x4 2032 Lithium Coin Cells Battery life: 24 - 48 + hours By offering three power levels of constant light, the Scout allows the user to select the most appropriate light output for the activity and level of remaining battery power. High power is rated at 24 hours, medium power at 36 hours and low power at 48 hours. Battery life will vary depending on factors including: brand and freshness of batteries, temperature, and "recovery time" or time when lamp has not been on. LED life: The LEDs are rated for 10,000+ hours. Angle adjustment: The LED housing can be adjusted to cast light forward or down (or any angle in between). On/off switch: The Scout is controlled by an electronic switch at the top of the LED housing unit that provides five different operating modes. The high power mode is selected by pressing and releasing the button. Other modes can be selected by pressing and releasing the button within two seconds of the first button press. The available modes, in order, are high power, medium power, low power, slow flash, fast flash, and off. Regardless of the operating mode selected, the Scout will turn off with one button press if more than two seconds have elapsed since the previous button press. Hat band adjustment: The single strap can be adjusted to accomodate a wide range of sizes for bare-heads or helmets. Lamp can be quickly detached from its head strap for use on your cap, backpack strap, belt and other gear. Waterproof: Although the Scout is waterproof, water can get on the circuit board if the case is not properly closed. If the circuit board gets wet, remove the batteries and shake out the excess water. The circuit board is very durable and will normally resume working once the water is shaken off. After shaking off excess water, it is recommended to leave the case open to allow the inside to thoroughly dry. Warranty: Lifetime. Warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Warranty does not cover bulbs and batteries. Not warranted against normal wear and tear, improper use, or improper maintenance. |
