Features
- Kerlon 1800 outer tent fabric and 10 mm poles make for an exceptionally strong and stable tent.
- All season construction: outer tent walls extend to the ground and mesh areas are backed with adjustable fabric panels.
- Tunnel construction offers maximum space to weight ratio and is the ideal choice for mobile journeys.
- Plenty of room for three occupants and their gear.
- Linked but seperable inner and outer tent for simultaneous pitching.
- Tunnel design requires only four pegs for pitching, and the simple, single opening continouse sleeve and pole tensioner system is quick to pitch and remarkably stable.
- A single entrance and extended vestibule afford easy access and maximum storage space, but keep the weight very low.
- The inner tent can be replaced with a Mesh Inner tent (sold separately).
- The outer and inner tents can be used separately. Pitching the inner tent alone requires optional pole holderes
The photos of the inner tent below are of the 2004 version. The only changes are 10 mm poles, Redesigned vestibule, Spectra-blend guy lines and Reflectors. Click the photos to see more
The Hilleberg Nammatj 3 GT is pictured at left with a 6'3" model. The Nammatj 3 GT is an exoskeleton tent that is set up with the poles in the outer tent (fly). The inner tent is attached to the fly on the inside. Tent is pictured at left in this full set-up, with the inner tent and fly set up as one unit.
The inner tent can be set up separately to be used in warmer conditions. To set up the inner tent separately, you need four pole holders (sold separately) and one guy line to keep the inner tent erect. The poles are run through the elastic suspension loops that usually attach the inner tent to the outer tent.
