Judging the weight of a light object

It is easy to judge the weight of a light item with US coins and the information included in the item's description.  A weight equivalent, in coins, accompanies each item's description (eg, a BuckLite weighs 1.25 oz which is equivalent to the weight of 5 quarters, 1 dime and 1 nickle).  Using the length information for a item (eg, a closed BuckLite is about 4 inches long), spread out the coins in the palm of your hand so they cover approximately the same area as the item.  [For most people, if the coins are placed in a stack they will feel heavier than the item.]
