Description
Made from light, hardwearing TerraTex™ fabric, and designed with freedom of motion in mind, the Palisade is a technical pant built for extended trips across demanding terrain. Durable and comfortable, TerraTex™ is a nylon blend geared for warm weather hiking and trekking. It delivers sun protection, dries quickly, and has performance stretch. The trim fit is streamlined and lies close to the body. This minimizes excess fabric that would otherwise get in the way while negotiating technical terrain. Articulated patterning and a gusseted crotch work with the fabric’s stretch to deliver the ergonomic freedom needed to handle steep grades and shifting topography.
TRAIL FOCUSED
Arc’teryx designs for specific use, and purpose driven function defines the Palisade Pant. The waistband lies flat under a hipbelt and is lined with comfortable, moisture wicking brushed polyester. Pockets are carefully selected and placed for superior efficiency while wearing a pack. Streamlined cargo pockets on each thigh secure with a low profile laminated zipper and have a volume pleat for more effective storage of larger items. Slash hand pockets provide simple, easy access small essentials. As a component of the Arc’teryx Traverse collection, the Palisade Pant works as part of a comprehensive system that aligns footwear, packs and apparel to deliver Arc’teryx freedom of movement, performance and reliability.

Next to Skin Fit
These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Used for base layers which integrate well with Expedition, Trim, Athletic and Relaxed Fit.
Trim Fit
These trim fitting garments share motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx Regular fit, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. Arc'teryx trim fit is sized for a base layer and a trim synthetic or down filled mid-layer
Regular Fit
"Arc'teryx Standard" fit, the complex patterns used utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion and eliminate excess bulk. Trimmer than the Relaxed fit with room for a base layer, a light fleece mid-layer and a synthetic or down filled mid-layer.
Relaxed Fit
Relaxed fit garments rely on both articulation and higher volume patterns to provide comfort and mobility. Arc'teryx looser fit featuring room for a base layer plus a thick cold weather mid-layer
Expedition Fit
Expedition fit is suitable for winter / extreme conditions. The larger cut accommodates multiple layers without binding or restricting movement. Arc'teryx maximum fit with room for a base layer plus multiple, thick cold weather mid-layers.
Ergonomic 3-Dimensional Patterning
Ergonomic 3-Dimensional (e3D) patterning brings an additional level of articulation to provide enhanced range-of-motion in Arc'teryx Trim, Athletic and Expedition fit categories. The application of e3D patterning allows for enhanced mobility for sport-specific activities in challenging environments.
