Description
The Gamma LT is the result of intelligent, purpose driven design and the Arc’teryx commitment to craftsmanship. Made from lightweight, hardwearing Wee Burly™ softshell fabric, a DWR (durable water repellant) treated nylon/polyester double weave, the Gamma LT is strong, light and provides moderate warmth and weather protection. The fabric blends wind resistance with air permeable comfort, has elastane fibres for built-in two way stretch, and is exceptionally durable for its weight. Its wind and water resistance is complimented with a textured backing that adds thermal comfort and moisture transport during active use across a range of weather conditions and levels of activity. This versatile performance makes the Gamma LT an essential softshell for active alpine and backcountry endeavors.
REFINEMENT AND INNOVATION
Refinement and smart innovation are Arc’teryx design obsessions. To facilitate heat dump without inadvertent opening, the Gamma LT employs the ingenious No Slip Zip™. The zipper’s unique construction involves a series of bumps on the top few teeth to prevent self-opening, but, as in many Arc’teryx pieces, the zipper may be rapidly opened with a single hand for almost instantaneous heat dump. This seemingly little thing clearly shows the Arc’teryx attention to detail.
MOVEMENT AND FREEDOM
Alpine versatility requires exceptional freedom of movement, so Arc’teryx leverages articulated patterning, underarm gussets and stretch materials to help the Gamma LT move with the body. The Arc’teryx regular fit fits easily under a belay parka, allows room for midweight layers, yet is streamlined and athletic. The Gamma’s hip length hem and streamlined patterning allow it to lie comfortably under a harness or pack belt. Stretch gusset cuffs provide a secure fit, but push up easily for ventilation.
Redesign includes an update to the body fabric with superlight N40r GORE-TEX with NEW Paclite® Plus product technology for enhanced next-to-skin comfort.

Next to Skin Fit
These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Used for base layers which integrate well with Expedition, Trim, Athletic and Relaxed Fit.
Trim Fit
These trim fitting garments share motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx Regular fit, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. Arc'teryx trim fit is sized for a base layer and a trim synthetic or down filled mid-layer
Regular Fit
"Arc'teryx Standard" fit, the complex patterns used utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion and eliminate excess bulk. Trimmer than the Relaxed fit with room for a base layer, a light fleece mid-layer and a synthetic or down filled mid-layer.
Relaxed Fit
Relaxed fit garments rely on both articulation and higher volume patterns to provide comfort and mobility. Arc'teryx looser fit featuring room for a base layer plus a thick cold weather mid-layer
Expedition Fit
Expedition fit is suitable for winter / extreme conditions. The larger cut accommodates multiple layers without binding or restricting movement. Arc'teryx maximum fit with room for a base layer plus multiple, thick cold weather mid-layers.
Ergonomic 3-Dimensional Patterning
Ergonomic 3-Dimensional (e3D) patterning brings an additional level of articulation to provide enhanced range-of-motion in Arc'teryx Trim, Athletic and Expedition fit categories. The application of e3D patterning allows for enhanced mobility for sport-specific activities in challenging environments.
