Description

A warm, casual coat for fall and winter’s colder days. With a clean design and above the knee cut, the Darrah has a cosmopolitan look with mountain influenced styling. Insulated with Arc’teryx Coreloft™ synthetic insulation, the coat is warm without looking bulky. The water repellent Neilsa™ polyester/cotton blend fabric resists snow and light rain, and has a soft, cottony hand with a subtle texture. A full coverage insulated hood provides extra protection and warmth, two zippered outside pockets hold essentials and warm the hands, and a zippered internal pocket secures important items.

FREE TO MOVE

Knowing that insulated coats can be restrictive, Arc’teryx builds in freedom to move. The Coreloft™ insulation is body mapped. This puts more insulation where it’s needed, less where it isn’t, resulting in better performance, less restriction and more flattering fit. Articulation in the sleeves combines with underarm gussets to provide a more complete range of motion in the arms.

NOT JUST FLUFF

Developed by Arc'teryx, Coreloft™ is a synthetic insulation made of mixed size staple fibres that are crimped to trap air and retain warmth. Lightweight, breathable, and thermally efficient, this 100% polyester insulation is very compressible and has excellent loft retention. Coreloft™ is easy to care for and will retain its warmth even if it gets wet.

Next to Skin Fit

These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Used for base layers which integrate well with Expedition, Trim, Athletic and Relaxed Fit.

Trim Fit

These trim fitting garments share motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx Regular fit, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. Arc'teryx trim fit is sized for a base layer and a trim synthetic or down filled mid-layer

Regular Fit

"Arc'teryx Standard" fit, the complex patterns used utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion and eliminate excess bulk. Trimmer than the Relaxed fit with room for a base layer, a light fleece mid-layer and a synthetic or down filled mid-layer.

Relaxed Fit

Relaxed fit garments rely on both articulation and higher volume patterns to provide comfort and mobility. Arc'teryx looser fit featuring room for a base layer plus a thick cold weather mid-layer

Expedition Fit

Expedition fit is suitable for winter / extreme conditions. The larger cut accommodates multiple layers without binding or restricting movement. Arc'teryx maximum fit with room for a base layer plus multiple, thick cold weather mid-layers.

Ergonomic 3-Dimensional Patterning

Ergonomic 3-Dimensional (e3D) patterning brings an additional level of articulation to provide enhanced range-of-motion in Arc'teryx Trim, Athletic and Expedition fit categories.
