Bothy bags use ripstop nylon to create a windproof, highly water resistant and very strong shelter.

Bothy bags are increasingly used by mountain rescue teams, outdoor centers and youth groups as emergency shelters and should always be in the bottom of your pack. They create a surprisingly warm and sheltered environment in use and are ideal for lunch stops or accidents. Terra Nova Superlite Bothy 2

Terra Nova Superlite Bothy 2 pictured above with two 5'11" models inside. The Bothy shelters do not use poles or stakes to set up. Users climb under the shelter and sit on reinforced nylon seat and lean back which causes the fabric to become taut. The integrated stuff sac doubles as a vent and can be seen in the photo above on the side of the shelter.	Opposite side of the Bothy 2 does not feature a vent as in the other side.
