A 3 liter bottle of Coke filled to 2-5/8" weights the same (1.4 lbs) as the
regular Light Year 45 in a #3 ditty sack.

Kelty includes a 12" x 16" cotton storage sack and a 6" x 12" stuff sack.

The foot of the bag includes a 13" long zipper for ventilation
at the bottom of the bag. The zipper is closed in
the left-hand picture and open in the right-hand picture (note: the white
on the "open" picture is a sheet inserted
to provide contrast for the opening; the black of the inner liner does not
show up well in a photo.)
The zipper length is 29" for the regular size bag
and 34" for the long bag.
The Light Year includes a 1" wide nylon zipper
guard to protect the sleeping bag fabric from
snagging in the zipper.
The hood of the Light Year cinches down
to a 4" opening
