This view shows how fly is kept erect and in place without the body
of the tent in the Fastpack setup. Located on the fly are three velcro
tabs that hold the fly to the pole.
These velcro tabs are also used in the regular setup, with the tent body. They
are positioned on the under side of the guy points. By
securing the fly to the pole at the guy point, the guy point is structually
connected to the tent. |
