Designed with help from mountaineer Chris Warner after his successful summit of K2, the Convert 3 is a highly durable yet surprisingly light 3-person mountaineering tent. Made with Sierra Designs' Drizone 2-layer waterproof/breathable fabric, the Convert is a single wall shelter designed to keep alpinists comfortable, protected, and confident in their gear. Weighing in at just 5 lbs, 14 oz, the Convert 3 features an internal / external pole configuration for ease of set up in bad weather, superior ventilation through two ceiling vents, and a crampon-friendly zippered floor opening. Extra interior space takes the place of a vestibule, supplying room for storing gear.
