Photos show the Osprey Aether 85
worn by a 5'11" model.
The
lid of the Aether 85 can be attached directly to the Isoform hipbelt
and worn as a hip pack.
The Osprey Aether 85 features an adjustable torso
length padded AirScape backpanel with nubbed foam and grip
mesh covering , twin peripheral 7075 AL suspension rods, and contoured
shoulder harness. The IsoForm CM hip belt is constructed of
thermoplastic which can optionally be heat treated and custom molded
by an Osprey dealer. Custom molding to the user's shape maximizes
comfort under load, yet the hipbelt is very comfortable without
molding. The molding technology allows the hipbelt to be reheated
and reformed several times to fit the user's changing body shape
(or a new user).

to stabilize its contents, and compress to a smaller overall size
for occasions when less capacity is needed.
