Surge opened with pliers ready to use.	The Surge features new scissors that have even sturdier blades than before. And, they open easily from the outside of the handle.


The Surge is the first Leatherman that lets you change blades. The blade exchanger comes with an open-tooth saw and two-sided file. It also fits standard T-shank blades, so you can choose exactly the tool you need. The middle photo above shows the blade exchanger in the unlocked position so the blade can be changed.

Sheaths


The Surge Premium sheath. Nylon and leather belt sheath features Leatherman logo and snap closure. Features three pockets/slots for accessories and permits holstering of tool in open (pliers) position. Vertical and horizontal carry.	The Surge nylon sheath.

Leatherman Surge; two-sided file and carry pouch

The Surge includes a two-sided file and nylon carry pouch. The file works with the blade exchanger. The two-sided file and nylon pouch fit in either the nylon or leather sheaths.
