The Style PS has been tested in airports across the world for compliance but was designed specifically to follow the United States *TSA regulations (www.tsa.gov). The tool was tested internationally at airports throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and South Africa. So far the only issues with international airport security have been reported in two airports, one in Southern China and one in South Africa. Multi-tools as a classification of product cannot obtain "TSA-approved" status. They can only be designed to and state TSA-compliance. *While the Leatherman Style PS complies with TSA regulations (March 2009) and has been tested in airports around the world for travel-approved tools (visit www.tsa.gov for full details), please remember that ultimately discretion is up to each individual TSA agent. Regulations may vary from country to country.
