To assemble the locking pliers on the Leatherman Crunch, open
it and there is a ball and socket joint built into the tool. Fit the
two parts of this joint together by bringing one handle to the other, snap
them together, and the locking pliers are ready to go to work.
All tools lock open on the Leatherman Crunch. The metal
tab on the lower side of the Crunch in the photo above is used to unlock
each tool.
Tool bits can also be fitted to the Leatherman Crunch. To
do this, completely remove the screw that sets the tension on the locking
pliers ...
... then simply insert the tool bit of your choice into that
hole which is a hex bit driver.
