For even more protection, Kestrel offers optional reinforced carry cases that make it easier to carry the Kestrel 4000/4100/4500 on a belt or pack. This case is available in black only and is designed to expose the sensors, allowing the Kestrel 4000 to continue logging accurate readings. It is constructed of a sturdy triple laminate of polyurethane, vinyl and nylon with neoprene rubber sides to hold the Kestrel 4000 snugly.

Kestrel Carry Case for 4000/4100

Image above shows the front of the carry case. The sensor of the unit inside can be seen and allowed to continue logging accurate readings. The patented NiteIze™ clip on the back is a nylon/fiberglass composite that accomodates up to a 2 1/4" belt, and also attaches reliably over a waistband. There is an added strong hook and loop strap to allow for easy mounting on a backpack or harness strap
