Extends the life of filters

The MSR Siltstopper is the only replaceable micron-grade prefilter. Reduces the frequency of cleanings in muddy water and protects rubber gaskets of pump from abrasive dirt particles. Flow can be regenerated repeatedly by quick and simply backflushing. The SiltStopper filter element is easily replaceable. The MSR SweetWater SiltStopper makes an excellent addition to any filter or purifier.
