Close-up of the hood of the Exped
Waterbloc 800. Draw cords of different color and shape are easy to identify.
Locking zippers with reflective and glow-in-the-dark pulls will not open
accidentally.
Close up of the foot box shows the end of the
zipper cover flap and the anatomic angled shape of the foot box.
The baffles of Waterbloc bags are
seam welded which enables you to remain comfortable and dry in wet conditions
or in a snow cave. The zipper is covered by a large flap for added weather
protection. Optional WB hood, waterproof jacket or tarp helps to shade
your head from the elements.

*Temperature rating according to EN 13537-Norm
The Euro-Norm temperature rating for sleeping bags mainly provides
comparability. A certified laboratory measures the heat loss of a dummy
with 16 sensors in a climate chamber. Since women and men experience
cold differently, the results for the comfort rating vary. Women should
choose "Comfort" as reference temperature rating, men can go down to
the "Limit". The "Extreme" rating defines the point at which one would
barely feel warm but not shiver. The "Max" temperature rating
defines the temperature at which one would feel so warm that the bag
must be opened for venting.
