Lycra®: To retain shape, Bridgedale uses Lycra by DuPont. Lycra offers the best stretch and recovery. There are a lot of cheaper fibers out there, but they don't work as well. Lycra is critical to sock fit and to minimize sock movement, and therefore minimize blisters. |

Merino Wool: The finest wool available. Merino is a light, soft wool which enables Bridgedale
to knit socks with excellent handle, guaranteeing no itch. In addition, Merino Wool
provides excellent thermal and moisture control properties. |
