The Big Agnes Mad House 2 is a four season convertible tent with two doors and two large vestibules. Two vents on the ends of the tent can be opened or closed from inside the tent. The Mad House uses a two pole design to support the inner tent, and a third pole adds structure to the vestibules. The photo at left shows a side view of the tent with both vestibule doors open and a 5'4" model standing beside the tent.

The main tent body of the Mad House 2 features two large circular doors with solid fabric panels which can be unipped and rolled down to provide ventilation. A large panel at the top of the tent has a similar panel which can be opened for more ventilation in warmer conditions. The photo at left shows the Mad House 2 with front door open and the solid panel rolled down on the back door. A 5'4" model is shown seated inside.

The photo at left shows the interior of the Mad House 2 with two standard sized Therm-A-Rest sleeping pads placed inside. The Mad House 2 features two double layer pockets on the sides of the front and rear doors which can be used as stash pockets for the foor material when opened.
