Aramid-reinforced boot laces

You may be familiar with the aramid fiber through its trade name Kevlar™. Aramid is the non-branded name for Kevlar™. Whether known by aramid or Kevlar™, it is the same fiber and is famous for being the key component in bullet proof vests. Of course, these laces are not bullet-proof, but the aramid creates a very strong boot lace.

Round Laces

Trail Creek hiking boot laces are reinforced with Aramid 29 fiber.

Aramid is a high tensile strength fiber with a unique combination of toughness, extra-high tenacity with excellent thermal stability. These properties make for a superior outdoor boot lace.

It is best to measure the length of the laces you are currently using.
As a quick approximation, the measures below are helpful, but not exact:

48"	For boots with 6 to 7 pair of eyelets
60"	For boots with 8 to 9 pair of eyelets
72"	For boots with 9 to 10 pair of eyelets
