Two light sources: In the photo at left, the blue
arrow points to the Xenon Halogen light source and the red arrow points
to the 3 LED light source.
Spare Bulb: The Petzl MYO 3 includes a spare Xenon
Halogen bulb (see photo below)
Angle adjustment: The housing can be adjusted as shown in the
photo at left.
On/off switch: Lamp is turned on/off by turning lamp housing
unit to the right (for both light sources).
Hat band adjustment: The top strap and side strap can both
be adjusted to accomodate a wide range of sizes for bare-heads or helmets.
Water resistance: After use in a humid environment, remove
the batteries, the bezel, and the bulb. Allow the lamp to dry thoroughly,
keeping the battery case, bezel, and headpeice open. Water in the headpiece
or battery case can cause the lamp to malfunction. The LEDs cannot be
dismantled. LEDS have a very long life and do not require service.
Warranty: 3 years. Warranted to be free from defects
in material and workmanship. Not warranted against normal wear
and tear, improper use, or improper maintenance. |
