Photo at left shows the Stretch Light with the bulb housing partially
extended during conversion from flashlight to lantern. The conversion
from flashlight to lantern is made by sliding the bulb housing up (in
direction of red arrow) which then clicks into place. Conversion
back to a flashlight is made by sliding the bulb housing back down (in
direction of green arrow).
In the photo at left, the battery compartment of the Essential Gear
Stretch Light has been removed and is positioned to the right of the
Stretch Light. The battery compartment is contained in the bottom
part of the Stretch Light and is easily accessed by twisting off the
small black cap that is pictured at the bottom of the photo. All
3 AAA batteries fit in the black battery compartment pictured. The Stretch
Light is pictured in its flashlight configuration in the photo.
